The Challenge
Many learners at a skills school are first-time applicants. Some have no prior certificates.
They need to know what to bring, what it costs and when classes start. Phone calls for these basics took staff time.
The school also offers many departments. Each needed a clear place on the site.
The Solution
I built a single admissions page that answers every first question. It covers requirements, programs, intakes, fees and scholarships.
A plain checklist shows what to prepare before applying. Beginners learn that they can still apply.
The course catalog shows each skill as a card with a details button.
The Results
Applicants now find requirements and fees without calling. They can register online from any page.
Each department has a clear place in the catalog. New courses can be added as new cards.
The site is easy to use on phones, which most applicants use.
What I Built
This vocational training website serves Naija Global Academy, a skills school in Uyo, Nigeria. Learners train in fashion, ICT, catering, beauty and more. Here is what I built.
- Welcoming homepage. It invites learners to start, with ratings, a testimonial and popular courses.
- Course catalog. Fashion designing, barbing, computer training and hairdressing appear as clear course cards.
- Admissions page. Fast facts, requirements, programs, intake dates, fees, scholarships and an admission FAQ sit on one page.
- Requirements checklist. Applicants see exactly what to prepare, such as photos and a valid ID.
- Online registration. A registration button sits in the header on every page.
- Departments. ICT, fashion, catering, electrical and beauty each list their skills.
- Gallery and contact. Photos and full contact details help families trust the school.
The result is a vocational training website that takes a learner from interest to application in one visit.
