The Challenge
Citizens Global Resources offers 15 different services. They range from home care and housing help to transportation, a food bank and job programs.
Families needed to find the right service fast. Partners needed to see a capable provider. Both needed one clear point of contact.
Building 15 pages by hand in a page builder would cause problems. The pages would drift apart and be hard to update.
The Solution
I built a custom WordPress theme and a modular plugin. The key idea: each division is structured content, not a hand-made page.
Every division gets its own clean URL. Each follows the same proven layout: overview, services, who it helps, how to start, FAQs and contact.
Visitors browse services grouped by need. Staff manage everything from simple admin screens.
The Results
The organization now has one consistent, mobile-first website. Each of its 15 services has a dedicated page.
Structured data helps Google and AI assistants understand every service. Staff update pages without a developer. Every message and donation is stored and can be exported.
I tested the site on phones and tablets. Security headers are verified at the server.
What I Built
This is a custom WordPress website for Citizens Global Resources, a community services organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. It brings 15 service divisions together in one fast, easy site. Here is what I built.
- Custom WordPress theme. It has its own design system. One stylesheet and one small script keep it fast.
- Smart navigation. A desktop mega menu groups services by need. On phones, an accessible drawer menu opens instead.
- Divisions engine. All 15 services use one structured template. Each has a clean URL, like /home-care/.
- Simple admin screens. Staff edit divisions, FAQs and the capability statement without a page builder.
- Messages and donations. Every contact message and donation is saved in its own table. Staff can export both as CSV.
- Search and AI visibility. Each page has structured data for the organization, its services, FAQs and breadcrumbs.
- Security. Strong security headers run at the server. Sensitive files are blocked from public access.
