African Mega Star needed to run auditions online. Applicants come from many countries, and many are minors.
So the form had to collect a lot of data. It needed guardian details, emergency contacts, ID numbers and signed consent.
The show also wanted fans involved. Voting had to support both free votes and paid votes.
The Solution
A custom talent platform plugin handles applications and voting. It works alongside an Elementor design.
The long application is split into four short steps. Each step validates its fields before moving on. Uploads are checked for type and size.
Contestants appear on a participants page with profiles. Free votes count instantly. Paid votes go through WooCommerce checkout.
The Results
The show now collects complete, consistent audition applications online. Organizers no longer chase missing details.
Fans can follow and support contestants from any device. Paid voting creates a new revenue stream for the show.

What I Built
This talent show website powers African Mega Star, a talent pipeline run by Global Mega Show USA Inc. Performers from across Africa apply online. Fans then vote for their favorites. Here is what I built.
- Four-step audition form. Applicants move through personal details, talent, media and review. Progress shows at each step.
- Complete applicant records. The form collects ID, guardian and emergency contacts, plus a signed terms agreement.
- File uploads. Applicants upload a headshot and a guardian signature, with type and size checks.
- Event selection. Each applicant picks the audition event they want to join.
- Contestant profiles and voting. Every participant has a profile. Fans can cast a free vote or buy extra votes.
- Paid votes with WooCommerce. Vote purchases run through WooCommerce checkout.
- Story-driven pages. The pipeline, judges and partners sections explain the journey from audition to stage.
The result is a talent show website that turns visitors into applicants and fans into voters.
